RTCA: Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics, A not-for-profit corporation that develops consensus-based recommendations regarding communications, navigation, surveillance, and air traffic management (CNS/ATM) system issues. RTCA functions as a Federal Advisory Committee.

SAE International: Standards development in the aerospace, automotive, and commercial/heavy duty vehicle communities.

SISO: Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization, SISO focuses on facilitating simulation interoperability and component reuse across the DoD, other government, and non-government applications and seeks to serve the broad Modeling and Simulation (M&S) community.
